Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Jobe AI ("Jobe," "we") for your use of getajobe.ai and the Jobe app. By using Jobe, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Jobe. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Jobe

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement.

What Jobe does

Jobe tailors your resume and cover letter to specific jobs using AI, and can watch companies you choose for new roles. We may change, add, or remove features over time.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. Keep it secure and tell us if you think someone else has accessed it. Jobe needs access to the Google Drive files you select and the files it creates for you. If you remove that access, parts of Jobe will stop working.

Your content and review

You own the resumes and other content you give us. You give Jobe permission to store, copy, and process that content, including with our service providers, as needed to run the service. You confirm that you have the right to provide it.

AI can make mistakes. Review everything Jobe produces before you use it. You are responsible for making sure anything you send to an employer is accurate and true.

No guarantee of results

We don't promise that you'll get an interview or a job, or that any job listing is accurate, current, or still open. Listings come from third parties. Jobe isn't affiliated with the companies or job boards it shows unless we say so.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Jobe to create false or misleading claims about yourself or anyone else;
• upload content you don't have the right to use, or another person's data without permission;
• get around usage limits, plan limits, or security measures;
• scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service;
• use Jobe to break the law or to build a competing product.

Plans and billing

• Basic is free and includes 1 tailored resume a month.
• Pro costs $12 a month and includes 30 tailored resumes a month. Stripe processes payment.
• Monthly limits count jobs, so tailoring again for the same job doesn't use another resume. Unused resumes don't roll over.
• Pro renews automatically each month and charges your payment method until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings under Manage billing. You'll keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
• We may change prices or plan limits. We'll tell you before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

Third-party services

Jobe relies on services such as Google, Anthropic, and Stripe. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them.

Our rights

Jobe's software, name, and design belong to us. These terms give you a personal, limited right to use the service and nothing more. If you send us feedback, we can use it freely.

Ending your use

You can stop using Jobe anytime. To delete your account, email us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if your use puts the service or other people at risk.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jobe is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jobe won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, wages, opportunities, or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid Jobe in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Jobe after a change, you accept the new terms.
